Trip to California

I went to California over President's Day weekend and it was so fun! Not only did we have lots of fun, but I thought I saw Joe Jonas (I don't like the Jonas Brothers though..icky). So I didn't bother asking if it was him. Whatever. We went to our hotel and checked in and got ourselves settled in and everything and made sure everything was out of our car.

We went and ate at Olive Garden (it was so packed! And I'm claustrophobic :3) and we had to wait an hour and a half. I was starving. Olive Garden had never tasted so good in my entire life <3 It was so yummy!

We went back to the hotel and went to bed. I, of course, couldn't miss my show, Family Guy [I love that show]. I went to bed at 11:30 watching it.

The next morning we woke up at 7:30 and went down to the lobby with the koi fish swimming in the pool beside the tables to eat breakfast. I'm on a healthy kick this year, so I loaded up my plate with strawberries, oranges, a banana, cantaloupe, apple slices, and watermelon. I also got some Sprite and eggs. Does anyone eat eggs with ketchup? I do. Not a lot though. Gross.

We then went to a Target to get some stuff. I got a brush cleanser that supposed to work really well (well, it should, considering the fact it was $50...with my own money). I had never seen a two-story Target! It was so cool, I just had to take a picture. We then took a drive to Hollywood and I took a picture of the Hollywood sign. It was so cool. I didn't see any celebs though. *Tear*
:'(

After a long day of driving around and taking pictures, we finally went to Knott's Berry Farm. They have a huge assortment of roller coasters and rides. I chickened out on the first ride, the Ghostrider, but my sister went on it. She almost puked mid-ride!! Thankfully she didn't :) I then went on a roller coaster I loved 4 times in a row. Then I went on the log ride (didn't get soaked, yay!) and then the Silver Bullet, where your feet hang and it zips you all over the place and twists and turns and all of that. It has a loop, too. I screamed the whole time, so I didn't really know we were on the loop at all :D

We went back to our hotel at 10:00. I was too tired to watch Family Guy...*cries*.

The morning after that, we woke up to a fresh and crisp morning in California. I was really excited..we were going to check out the beach. It was beautiful. We went to Laguna Beach, but it was far too cold for anyone to get into the water, except a select few people I saw swimming. I loved hearing the soothing sound of the ocean and the blue sky complimenting the sea's deep blue color. I didn't see any fish or anything, which was kind of disappointing, but I couldn't resist the urge to take a picture with my mom and sister using the timer on my camera so I could get into the picture.

We then went to the Ronald Reagan library near Hollywood (it's quite a ways far from it, actually). I don't really know a lot about Reagan, but I surely learned a lot of stuff about him. We also saw a part of the Berlin Wall and they wrote a quote by Ronald Reagan himself on the back of the wall. It was pretty cool. Again, photograph time! :P

After that, it was time to go (it was Monday...school tomorrow, ugh). So we left. It took NINE HOURS to get home!! I was so tired, I forgot to wake up today and was almost late for school (embarrassing!)

That was basically my trip to California. I will try to upload pictures of the trip to my blog to give you guys a little visual :)

Thanks for reading!
