BHCosmetics 120 Color Palette 1st Edition Review

Okay, so I just recently got this item from one of my close friends for a late birthday present (January 20...you're a LITTLE late, chica!) and so, to make up for that, she got me this. In fact, she got me a bunch of palettes over the years. I'll list them off (I WILL DO REVIEWS!):

• BHCosmetics 120 Color Palette 2nd Edition
• BHCosmetics 120 Color Palette 3rd Edition
• Coastal Scents Metal Mania Palette
• Coastal Scents 28 Neutral Palette
• Coastal Scents 88 Original Palette 

So this seems like a lot, but it's a grand total of 6 palettes. The total price was $50, and yes, my friend is a total discount junkie, so each palette was probably around $5-$10 depending on who/where she got it from. The person that gave them to her before she gave them to me bought them for the original price, so they probably sold them to her for a cheaper price. So it's kind of a ripoff and a steal.

Anyway, on to the review...

Overall, this is a great product. I know the price is around $20 or less, so it's totally worth the money you pay. The colors are very pigmented. Since my camera is having some difficulties taking pictures (I'll get a new one soon so I can take pictures for my blog), I'll have to search around for some swatches of other people who have this product. Here are some of the colors. Note that I have said that they are very pigmented. 

 

You kind of have to pack the color onto your lid, though. But that makes it show up more, and that's what we want. I especially like the blue and pinkish color swatch because they are so pigmented and beautiful. What makes it even more fantastic is that you can mix and match colors to create crazy, cool, neutral, or wild eye makeup looks.

But don't take my word for it. Here's what I mean:

The look is absolutely stunning in many ways. So, it's possible to create such looks with the 120 Color Palette 1st Edition. There are even more looks such as this in the 2nd and 3rd edition palettes. Of course, everything with a good side has a bad side. If you buy this palette for more than $30, you are getting ripped off and if you buy it from any other brand that does not make this product, it is most likely fake and you aren't getting your money's worth. So shop around for it, but be careful!

Note that this particular palette is from BHCosmetics ONLY!!!!  Really. I don't want anyone to get ripped off.

Overall, this product deserves 5 stars out of 5, and I would give it more. However, let's just leave it be. I really recommend this product to people who are just starting out with makeup and maybe don't have a lot in their collection. It's good because you have pretty much all the colors you need and so you don't need to go out and buy all of those individual pots of shadows. It gives you everything you need to get started, and it saves money.
