So I picked up the latest Seventeen magazine for May 2011 and didn't notice Emma Roberts was on the cover until I got home! *facepalm* She looks absolutely stunning in this issue. Her skin is so radiant and I am absolutely jealous of that, because my skin has finally decided to be like the Sahara Desert and dry up and flake. (Trust me, it's not attractive.) On a different note, let's take a look at what the inside of my favorite magazine contains.
- Bikini Season -
Yes, it is that time of year again where I finally decide to start kicking my workouts up a notch to get ready for bikini season! This particular issue has over 200 swimsuits to choose from to suit your body type, so there's really no need to spend hours and hours looking online for the most perfect swimsuit you can ever find. This has everything! Some of my favorites are on pages 34 to 35 - the cutout from Body Glove is absolutely gorgeous and playful. The one on page 35, the bandeau one from Forever 21 is absolute LOVE.
- Sunscreen is Your BFF -
I have never had a run-in with skin cancer before, and I am definitely NOT looking forward to getting my skin burnt to a crisp this summer and having to get skin cancer dug out of my skin. Instead, you get tips on how to FAKE a tan rather than risk it all for a skin-damaging real one. There are countless fake tanners in here you can choose from, and there is one for every person's liking. For example, there is at-home airbrush, moisturizing, bronzing and protecting, quick dry, swipe and go, and skin-clearing formulas. There is even a guide on how to prevent skin cancer and how to check yourself for skin cancer. How neat is that?
- Emma Roberts Interview -
Emma Roberts is in the new Scream 4 movie, which by the way, got terrible reviews. Anyway, Emma's fashion choice in the photos in the magazine were genious. I like how she used a necklace as a headband thing - so original. It seems like both of us share the same frustrations and even the same personality. She is absolutely gorgeous in all of the photos taken of her in this magazine and I hope she'll be featured again in the future!
